Just so everyone knows, I'm over at dandelion-fireworks.tumblr.com lately, and I have been posting art on there that hasn't made it here. I think it's been long enough that I'm gonna just clear my whole inbox on here 'cuz none of the unanswered messages are current enough to respond to anymore. I also might dump a few of the things from my tumblr art tag onto here at some point, but by now there's kind of a lot.

Hey, don't feel too bad, these were accumulated over the course of like... I dunno... a really long time. I basically didn't draw for the entire summer. I mean I'd doodle, but it'd usually be nothing worth putting up. Anyway, I basically just moved all of these over from my tumblr account. I kind of randomly stopped using my deviantart account when I got my tumblr and realized that I hadn't told anyone on here, so I've been absent on here for like a year or something. Until today that is. The moral of this story is mostly that I'm really bad at maintaining an online presence. : \
Its okay, everyone has their own life to attend to. We can't expect people to be online all the time (well most people. I for one, am a lazy ass and i'm always on DA or facebook, I need to change that. speaking of that, I should be working out right now 0_0) But yeah i'm planning an interesting concept soon and I hope it works out. It would look better using digital art but I don't have a tablet soooooo pencil and paper it is.
Yeah, for me it was sort of like, I had this huge lapse in motivation and didn't create as much stuff for a while. On top of that, my inbox on DA was crazy full 'cuz I never deleted anything so I started avoiding DA due to anxiety. I just had too many unanswered messages and not enough art to post. The first thing I did when I got back on here was delete over 200 old unanswered messages. Meanwhile tumblr was more entertaining, and it took the pressure off 'cuz I could just reblog a bunch of junk in between posting art. So I just switched from DA to tumblr for a while. Really, I can usually only sustain one social media account at a time, which is why I've never gotten a facebook.
Anyway, I don't have a tablet either, but my solution to that has always been to combine my pencil art with photoshop coloring methods. Like, if you look at my pencil sketches, the reason I make all my lines so clean is because I anticipate taking most of the finished sketches directly into photoshop, and I need to be able to make clean selections of the areas I want colored. It's probably more of a pain in the ass than just learning how to use a tablet, but it's what I've gotten used to. ^_^;
